Cypress Swamp Kayak Tour
Our guided kayak tour in the Blackwater Cypress Swamp at Middleton Place is one of our client favorites. Wander through a flooded forest of towering Bald Cypress and Water Tupelo, while keeping a keen eye out for the wildlife that surrounds you. Woodpeckers, Owls, Raptors, Pigs, Turkey, Ducks, and Alligators are just a few of the animals frequenting the bottomland forest. Unfortunatley the 2011 swamp season has come to an end, but now is the time for exploring the Ashley at Middleton Place by kayak. The swamp season at Middleton for 2012 is expected to resume in January and run through April. Due to the popularity of this tour, and the short season, reservations are recommended weeks in advance.
